Description/Notes:

The position is responsible for supporting the District’s goals for building public trust through effective communication. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification/Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in social media and web content management.
Computer proficiency at an intermediate level in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web application software and proficiencies and ease in learning new programs
Basic photography experience required.
Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, capacity to recognize when immediate action is required and when additional information is needed
Ability to work independently, manage multiple and competing deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and creatively solve problems and resolve conflicts

Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in print communications, electronic communications, and broadcast communications - preferred.

Salary Range:

$60,127.00 - dependent upon experience
