Salary: $41,600 - 45,760 per year Requirements:

• We want someone with basic to intermediate IT or technical troubleshooting experience.

• Experience with POS systems is a plus.

• Experience in computer repair or IT support is a plus.
• Experience with networking or internet troubleshooting is a plus.
• Experience as a field technician or in installation work is a plus.
• Experience with low-voltage or Ethernet cabling is a plus.
• Experience in software or SaaS customer support is a plus.
• A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required.
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
• You must be comfortable using a 6-foot ladder when needed.
• You must be comfortable with occasional local field work and paid travel.
• You must be able to work evening/night shifts and scheduled weekends.

• We provide technical support to business owners by phone, live chat, and email.
• We troubleshoot POS systems, payment terminals, printers, scanners, and other connected equipment.
• We diagnose basic networking, internet, cabling, and connectivity problems.
• We help customers configure software and learn how to use their POS and back-office systems.
• We set up Windows PCs and network-connected devices.
• We work with IP addresses, routers, static IP configurations, network settings, and basic diagnostic tools.
• We provision and test POS systems and credit card terminals before deployment.
• We assemble hardware kits and prepare equipment for shipping and installation.
• We document issues clearly and collaborate with other support team members when escalation is needed.
• We occasionally assist with local installations or field service, including CAT-5/CAT-6 cabling and equipment setup.
• We help keep the hardware and technical support area organized.

We are SuperSonic POS, and we are hiring a Technical Support Specialist to join our growing support team in an in-person, full-time role with evening and night shifts, including some weekends. This is not a typical call-center position; we work directly with business owners across the country to solve real-world technology challenges across POS systems, payment terminals, networking, printers, scanners, back-office software, and connected hardware. We provide training on our proprietary systems and offer the opportunity to build broad experience across POS technology, payments, networking, hardware, software, and field installations.
